this is why people hit a certain age and start joining running clubs, training for marathons, taking a cooking course etc btw. we all just wanna feel alive!!!
“How do I change my mind?” You just do. From I’m broke and money is hard to I always have so much money. From SP no luh me to SP luh me and they’re so obsessed with me. From this is hard to this is the easiest thing ever. Changing your thoughts is like breathing. Do it anyways.
I know that manifestation doesn’t require reprogramming, a perfectly regulated nervous system etc but knowing how the brain works optimally to make things easier for it to accept can be a plus to know about. 👀
“How do I believe?” You don’t have to. From my experience, I didn’t believe a single thing I was affirming until after my manifestation smacked me in the face. I believed it after it became a reoccurring thing in my life because I stayed consistent and kept affirming until I had zero doubts about it & all my mind could think of was the new story. The belief will usually come after your full manifestation materializes. Your only job is to tell yourself that you have what you want and not contradict yourself.
Stop forcing yourself to believe when you don’t have to. If you believe it? Great. If you don’t believe it and still have doubts? Cool. Keep going. The only thing that matters if what you continue to tell yourself in the present moment. Your only job is to stay consistent no matter what. Stick to what you want. Stick to the new story. Your manifestation is inevitable. It’s already yours. It’s yours to have. It’s yours to keep.
for ppl who think neville goddard was against affirmations
he literally mentioned (radio lectures, 1951) a man locking himself in a room repeating:
“i have a lavish, steady, dependable income” for hours
so yes, affirming is still completely within neville’s teachings!!
