If this was any other person in the world, I would've at least considered listening to his points. But this drama merchant Saint doesn't deserve anything.

Does kuro fcked up with Yangyang in 1.0? YES

Is kuro trying to fix her up? YES

Are some players just biased against her and are unwilling to even try to connect to her? ALSO YES

A lot of people did connect to her story, go ask all of them "do they think her character was great in 1.0?" I can guarantee 99% would say NO.

But they still connected with her story, that proves the problem doesn't particularly lie in the story. Similarly the problem also doesn't lie in the people who still don't like her.

But the real problem lies in the bias that some people have against her. If you have made up your mind that you're gonna dislike her before even starting the story. Then it's not Kuro's fault.

Also giving time to NPCs help them make the world feel alive. It's important and if anyone says it's not, you're just wrong. YES YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HOW STORY WRITING WORKS, SO STFU PLEASE.

"But I don't care about them" that's why they're giving them time, for YOU TO CARE ABOUT THEM. Again the same logic, if you aren't even willing to listen to them, ofcourse you wouldn't care about them.

Just finished doing a rewatch of Cyberpunk Edgerunners before the WuWa collab to refresh my memory on things and get attached to these characters again and man this is still a 10/10 Anime for me. Putting my full Reaction up on my Patreon, there is so many things I forgot about.

The fact that they could get you so attached to these characters and have such great pacing in just 10 episodes is actually incredible. David’s growth was handled so well and they portrayed Lucy and David’s relationship growing so naturally and organically. She played hard to get and he chased her until she finally saw him as a man and fell head over heels for him.

Lucy saved David’s life so she meant everything to him, after his mom died she was all he had left and to repay that he made sure his life’s goal was to help her achieve her dream of going to the moon. Such a tragic and beautiful story man, the ending still fucked me up and brought me to tears again even if I already knew it was coming. Everything about the writing for this story is just so well told man.

Is tribalism still happening in the wuwa space? It really shouldn't. Nor should people partake in it. I was thinking that the only competition wuwa has is with itself at this point. It's clear to me that Kuro is trying to legitimize wuwa to be a competitor not in the gacha game space but in the AAA space. Largely succeeding, id say. I do think the monetization model holds them back from a wider variety of gamers, which I can't blame them for. But I really don't think KURO should be compared to other games really. It's clear they're trying to 1-up themselves and never stagnate. I like that.
