The truth will set you free. Freedom over fear. Debate over censorship. Critical thinker. Never stop asking questions. Spiritual. Human kind - be both.
@BobDEithKC@michaelmorden Last week Mark Carney said “Canada Strong will Make America Great Again”.
I don’t see you calling Carney out as extreme or comparing him to Trump.
The quiet part nobody wants to admit is this: once trade stops being about economics and starts becoming about politics, every industry with export exposure becomes a pressure point. Mushrooms today. Beef, pork, canola, lumber, potash, or energy tomorrow.
Canada spent years acting like market access was permanent, rules-based systems were untouchable, and symbolism could replace leverage. Meanwhile, the Americans still think in terms of power, domestic jobs, and strategic advantage. Different operating systems entirely.
And the media avoids stories like this because it ruins the comforting fantasy that “everything is fine if we just manage the messaging better.” It isn’t. You cannot build a resilient country on press conferences, ESG slogans, and dependency. You build it on productivity, infrastructure, competitive costs, energy, and industries strong enough that other countries actually need you.
The boiled frog problem is real here. Canadians are slowly normalizing decline while being told not to notice the temperature rising.
I found out recently that I was deceived by social activists in an elaborate scheme dating back to January. A production group with what I now know has a fake name and fake identities gave me a friendly interview about my book A Day with Sir John A, and about Sir John A Macdonald, back in Feb.
They connected me with a fake company called Heritage Figures Canada with a fake website and "hired" me to perform consulting work for them. We had what I now know were fake meetings, fake documents, fake commercial shoot, fake prototype of a Sir John A collectible. Then in a second filmed interview last week, they turned on me, and it was revealed to have all been a setup in order to demonize Sir John A and smear me.
It turns out this is a taxpayer-funded CBC and APTN project. There is so much more, I will make a video. They also deceived @FrancesWiddows1
The ego that Canadians have and the deep distain for America is based on what? This is a scathing but very accurate description of Canada's true relationship to the US.

While preparing for a brief on the independence petition due tomorrow, I came across this from the Supreme Court of Canada that is worth sharing:
“The right of the people to discuss and debate ideas forms the very foundation of democracy… For this reason, the Supreme Court of Canada has assiduously protected the right of each citizen to participate in political debate...
Permitting an effective voice for unpopular and minority views — views political parties may not embrace — is essential to deliberative democracy. The goal should be to bring the views of all citizens into the political arena for consideration, be they accepted or rejected at the end of the day. Free speech in the public square may not be curtailed merely because one might find the message unappetizing or the messenger distasteful…
The ability to engage in effective speech in the public square means nothing if it does not include the ability to attempt to persuade one’s fellow citizens through debate and discussion. This is the kernel from which reasoned political discourse emerges.
Freedom of expression must allow a citizen to give voice to her vision for her community and nation, to advocate change through the art of persuasion in the hope of improving her life and indeed the larger social, political and economic landscape…
Freedom of expression protects not only the individual who speaks the message, but also the recipient. Members of the public — as viewers, listeners and readers — have a right to information on public governance, absent which they cannot cast an informed vote.”
These are words from the Supreme Court of Canada that recognize the importance of debate and discussion, even when the views are unpopular, uncomfortable, or distasteful.
So when someone tries to shut down the conversation, shame you, or tell you certain topics should not even be discussed, remind them of that.
The answer is not silence or suppression.
A petition, a debate, even a controversial idea, these are not failures of the system. They are expressions of it.
The real risk is when we start deciding which views are acceptable to be heard.
Because once that line starts moving, it does not stop where you think it will.
So the question is:
Are we prepared to actually live this principle or do we only support it when we agree with the message?
Because the more you know and understand, the more effectively you can participate, ask better questions, and actually effect change.
Oh, look, China's the lone wolf at the UN blocking crackdowns on fentanyl precursors, keeping the deadly supply chain wide open.
Meanwhile, PM Mark Carney just wrapped his cozy Beijing trip, praising Xi's leadership and signing fresh trade/energy deals to deepen ties. And BC Premier David Eby? Still presiding over ports flooded with those same Chinese precursors, triads laundering cash through casinos and real estate, while his decrim push turned the province into ground zero for the crisis.
Is it any wonder why #DavidEby and #MarkCarney look like major puppets to #China?
Strings pulled, wallets open, Canadians paying the price. 🇨🇳🎭
@RealAndyLeeShow And “when” this tax payer backed project is completed, it’s going to be insanely unaffordable for the average taxpayer, because Canada.
All of polls in Canada are showing a landslide super majority government for the Liberals.
If these polls were legitimate, Carney would be calling an election and not worrying about backroom bribes and floor crossers.
It appears yet another scandal has engulfed the CBC, placing the state-funded propaganda media under intensified public scrutiny.
In 2024, through my legal counsel, I submitted a formal complaint to the CBC Ombudsman concerning three of CBC's 2024 "news" articles and national radio broadcasts that contained multiple explicitly false, misleading, harmful, and defamatory statements about me. The CBC Ombudsman confirmed in writing in 2024 that the matter would be formally investigated as it fell under the Ombudsman's mandate, but despite multiple follow-ups, the @CBCOmbud has refused to provide any timeline or meaningful update, and the Ombudsman's formal public investigation still remains unresolved two years on with no resolution in sight.
