I don't know if this issue only exists for Xbox players. I play with crossplay off so I have only heard from the Xbox Community. We have been dealing with severe mid-game freezing.

I don't know if you all are aware of the severe mid-game freezing, random packet loss, latency spikes, rubber banding, "lagging", and just overall server connection issues that the "Xbox Core Multiplayer" Community has been struggling with post-update. HELP

Everyone that I play with as well as many people I have spoke to in lobbies are all saying that they are getting severe lag. It's not really lag, the games freezes and then resumes. Again, I am only aware of the Xbox side of multiplayer. PLEASE FIX THE BUG!
