Many people now explicitly instruct AI not to use “em dashes” because they’ve become a recognized tell. When the model is blocked from using “—”, it often defaults to double hyphens as a substitute.
The irony is that this workaround has become almost as identifiable as the em dash itself.
The ban created its own fingerprint. And in this case, it’s sitting right next to another one.

As Christians, we should treat people the way we want to be treated.. not the way they treat us.

If someone accidentally hits my car, should I turn around and hit theirs because they hit mine? No. “You can’t fight fire with fire” may sound cliché, but there’s truth to it. And yeah, “at least you can turn up the flames some” sounds good in the song 😂🔥 but unless burning down your own empire is the goal, it’s not the way out.

We have no shot at helping people see things from our perspective or guiding them toward God.. if we’re constantly “giving the same energy they give us.” I don’t want to give bad energy just because someone else does. It builds up.

The goal is to move people toward God and eternal life, not push them further away.

I don’t know what’s happening on X lately, but we all know how toxic it can be.. and that toxicity spills into YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and even our homes.

Think back to when CK was first killed. So many of us were talking about Christianity, respectful disagreement, empathy, and how to have conversations with people we disagreed with.

Now look at the comments under posts from people we disagree with. Too often, “our side” is attacking, mocking, and ridiculing instead of showing empathy, offering guidance, encouraging, or uplifting.

We don’t have to return the energy we’re given.

We’re called to be different.
