In 2023, I wanted to see Aya Hirano live at the end of the year in Japan.
Between the lottery and the asinine "japan only" requirements (address, phone numbers, etc), I didn't bother trying to attend.
Owning a private jet like that AT THAT PRICE is actually very good, and Channel Super Fun was BUILT for videos like that, but it doesn't have the biggest return on investment when it comes to watch/ad time, does it?

I think people say it all the time about piracy/circumvention, that the people often doing it never intended on paying, so it was never a loss, that money was never going to be made.
If stuff doesn't get official releases international, it's not a loss. It's a means to consume.
If it's $38 billion for domestic piracy, that is incredible.
If it is international losses, in a market where half of the anime/manga content consumed is lost media, out of print, and just not translated and sold outside of Japan, it's not really a loss.
"Right Now" feels like a cold winter morning.
"Cigarettes" keeps your head bouncing.
"Kenji" becomes a haunting history lesson.
"Slip Out the Back" is the wakeup on a cold morning.
The lack of any real 20 year anniversary celebration is massively disappointing.
20 years ago, it was the day AFTER the release of Fort Minorโs The Rising Tied ๐
I forgot to post on the anniversary, but I love the album nonetheless. Iโm grateful to everyone involved on it, and the tours that followed
