@goatlave2 Bengals haven’t made playoffs in 4 years because they can’t stay healthy and Ravens lost their best TE & All Pro Center and didn’t bring in a WR1 yet the team who has not missed making playoffs and won the division is below them. The glaze is too strong
@Steelersdepot If Elliott doesn’t go down and Ramsey stays at big nickel then I think we would be viewing this a bit differently today. Sure Smith was a complete bust but we were extremely excited to see what he could do post ‘24 season.
@FishKnowsBall The Killer Bees carried that roster. DBs were terrible sure. But I also attribute the roster to Colbert. If he didn’t have a successful 2017 draft, we would have moved on. He drafted terribly since Heyward.
@Yuri_Ravens Additionally, put Bengals in last place for ILB. Overall, I think it’s a solid ranking but felt Bengals are ranked too high defensively across the board.
@Yuri_Ravens I’m not upset with this but a few changes IMO. Steelers have the best CB room (anyone can argue about their CB1). I’m more bullish on Warren and Rico than Judkins as a complete room so I’d move them up one. I would swap Bengals and Steelers for safeties. Duggar is not him
@TomlinSteelers@1scottwsmith@Blitz_Burgh While we can agree that QB play has been insufferable, Tomlin made it clear that we would avoid throwing over the middle due to the high potential for turnovers. Obviously, this was during a time where the team had to rely on the defense to win games.
@BearsEmpire_ As someone with no dog in this fight, a few changes.
QB: Packers over Lions
RB: Packers over Bears
LB: Vikings first and if you’re including EDGE then Bears last
@NFLCenterStage@NFL_DovKleiman Ravens also never replaced their best TE or all pro center and didn’t bring in a true WR1. I understand it’s Lamar and Henry but seems a bit rich considering everything else. Bengals just have to show it on the field. They made good additions defensively but haven’t been healthy
@PortersBurgh@espn I’m okay with this ranking compared to last year. We have an “unproven” right side of our offensive line and a new coaching staff. Defense was disappointing last year but we have a much of new signings. I’d rather be slightly underrated by the experts anyways.
@LucasHefty@Barkley_Tap@Blitz_Burgh To which I’d agree but I can’t be an authoritative source on this discussion. Brees was a god among men compared to the new era QBs but we cannot disregard Ben just because Drew put up numbers and not success
