उत्तरी बिहार की हवाई संपर्कता को नई मजबूती देने वाले दरभंगा हवाई अड्डे @aaidarairport के नए टर्मिनल भवन का 71.1% कार्य पूर्ण हो चुका है।

₹642.43 करोड़ की लागत से 62,800 वर्ग मीटर में निर्माणाधीन इस आधुनिक टर्मिनल की वार्षिक यात्री क्षमता 30 लाख होगी। इसमें 5 एयरोब्रिज, 40 चेक-इन काउंटर सहित अत्याधुनिक यात्री सुविधाएं उपलब्ध होंगी। 5-स्टार GRIHA रेटेड ग्रीन टर्मिनल दरभंगा को नई पहचान देने के साथ पर्यटन, व्यापार, रोजगार और क्षेत्रीय विकास को नई गति प्रदान करेगा।

दरभंगा में विकास के नाम पर फिर से वही पुराना बहाना
आज की खबर है कि सरकारी जमीन न मिलने के कारण शहर में इको पार्क, सीवेज ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट और तीन-तीन पुलिस थानों के भवनों का निर्माण रुक गया है। हद तो ये है कि शहर में 10 एकड़ सरकारी जमीन भी एक जगह पर उपलब्ध नहीं है।
सिर्फ यही नहीं, इससे पहले भी मिथिला हाट दरभंगा और साइंस पार्क जैसी बड़ी योजनाओं के लिए भी जमीन नहीं मिल पाई थी। जब बुनियादी सुविधाओं के लिए जमीन नहीं है, तो शहर के विकास की बात करना बेकार है। प्रशासन कब जागेगा?

The consignment was procured directly from farmers in Darbhanga, providing them nearly 18% higher returns than the prevailing market price.

This is Bihar's first sea shipment of GI-tagged Mithila Makhana to Australia, facilitated with the support of APEDA.

यह उपलब्धि बिहार के कृषि उत्पादों की बढ़ती वैश्विक स्वीकार्यता और हमारे किसानों की समृद्धि की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है।

@APEDADOC के सहयोग से बिहार से पहली बार 18 मीट्रिक टन GI-टैग प्राप्त मिथिला मखाना का समुद्री मार्ग से ऑस्ट्रेलिया को निर्यात किया गया। दरभंगा के किसानों से सीधे खरीदी गई इस खेप से उन्हें बाज़ार मूल्य की तुलना में लगभग 18% अधिक लाभ मिला है।

From Bihar’s Darbhanga to the forefront of India’s fighter combat training, Squadron Leader Bhawana Kanth has added another remarkable first to her journey.

She has become the first woman fighter pilot to successfully complete the prestigious Fighter Combat Leader (FCL) course at the IAF’s TACDE in Gwalior, a demanding 20-week programme reserved for a select group of fighter pilots.

But this isn’t just another badge on her uniform.

Completing the course qualifies Bhawana to lead complex air combat missions and places her among the IAF’s frontline combat tacticians.

And she has been breaking new ground since the beginning. Commissioned in 2016 as one of India’s first three women fighter pilots, she went on to become the first Indian woman cleared for daytime fighter combat missions in 2019 and the first woman fighter pilot to participate in the Republic Day Parade in 2021.

Now, another first. Another barrier gone.

Bhawana Kanth’s journey is slowly changing what a young girl can imagine when she looks up at the sky.
