Hey @TeamYouTube here’s a summary of my situation, in order:
1. Demonetized for a “related channel” I deleted half a year ago.
2. Waited the mandatory 90 days, as instructed.
3. Reapplied. A YouTube reviewer accepted me back into the Partner Program.
4. Monetized for 9 days.
5. Automated system demonetized me again. Same reason. Same deleted channel.
6. Official solution: wait again for 90 days. Reapply. Loop.
I am not making this up.
PLEASE CLEAR outdated “RELATED CHANNEL” flag manually.

Yes, assuming it was part of resolution, since YouTube presented me with option to edit or delete videos. I deleted all videos, ended up with empty channel, so I deleted channel too. No warning, no policy that states that deleting it will trigger permanent monetization ban or demonetisation loop. I have proof of this too!
@BahnBlitz@TeamYouTube It mught be “new” policy but when my channel was suspended from YPP, it wasn’t even official policy. It was hidden internal policy now available to be seen by creators, and I have a proof. I will reveal it in the next post. Here’s a little sneak peak!
Hi @TeamYouTube I was demonetized for being “related” to another channel I owned. That channel was deleted half a year ago. It does not exist.
I waited the mandatory 90 days as suggested by YT support. I reapplied. A YouTube reviewer accepted my channel back into the Partner Program. I was monetized.
Nine days later, an automated system demonetized me again, for being related to that same channel. The one that doesn’t exist. The one a reviewer just cleared me on.
YouTube’s solution: wait another 90 days, reapply, get accepted, get demonetized again.
This is the actual process.
@itsrohal@TeamYouTube Got hit with the "related channel" flag myself. A human reviewer accepts you, then an automated system overrides that days later for the same deleted channel. No way to escalate. Did they give you anything beyond the standard 90 day message?
Nothing. And that’s the biggest problem. In the last 5 months, I don’t think I’ve communicated with a single human. All automated roboto-generic emails, X - replies, appeals responses. I don’t believe they even employ any humans in their customer service department, if there is any at all.
Hey @TeamYouTube served the full 90-day wait, reapplied, was reviewed and accepted back into YPP on 15 April. 9 days later, automatically demonetized again under the same “related channel” reason. Same option: wait another 90 days, reapply, same loop.
Why does YPP offer reapplication and acceptance, only for an automated flag to reverse it days later under the same reason the acceptance already cleared?
The two channels are not related. The other channel was deleted over half a year ago. My recent readmission back to YPP is itself proof the link no longer applies.
The solution is simple: manually clear the related-channel link. Without that, the loop continues indefinitely.
If this is not resolved in the next 14 days, I will pursue formal legal action. My name isn’t Toni by the way.
Hi @TeamYouTube can internal team member with authority check my channel and remove automated “related channel” flag which should have been created during manual review and acceptance to YPP? This is false positive system error.
