The brand wanted the Costco availability to be the hero of the video. So instead of leading with the product, i led with the location and made it look like I am excitedly telling it to a friend over FaceTime.

Oily/combo skin consumers don’t convert from specs but they convert from “omg this didn’t make me greasy in summer” from someone who actually has their skin type, so i kept the routine feel personal and relatable, not clinical.

That’s the difference between a script and a strategy!
