Jon M. Chu says the closet door scene in âWICKED: FOR GOODâ was improvised:
âCynthia and Ariana sang âFor Goodâ and I didnât call cut and they just kept acting it because thatâs what they do. They just ad libbed this thing: There was no real door, but they pretended to close the door. Theyâre giving each other strength through the difficulty of saying goodbye to someone you love forever [âŚ] Oh my god, I was like, âThis is what the full movie is about, is this moment.â And then they lean their heads against the door! I felt like I was a witness to some divine moment of intersection, that God wanted to send us a message and these women were channeling it.â

Ryan Tedder talks about Tate McRaeâs unreleased song that might drop, calling it the âmost innuendo record Iâve been a part of in foreverâ:
âI listen and blush. Iâm like, âOh god, letâs see if we can get away with it.â Some of Tateâs stuff [is sexy] because Iâm working with an artist whoâs in her early 20s and she has a very sexy presence, exudes femininity and is living her life.â
