@DaedalusFields Ultimately, as a fan, it comes down to which you value more: active, ruthless, and flashy gameplay, or more composed, subtle gameplay (not at all saying one is better than the other. Both are shown to be effective in Survivor).
@DaedalusFields IMO a lot of it comes from conflating fun tv with good gameplay. Parvati’s gameplay is a lot more active + flashy than Sandra’s, but by result it makes people a lot more bitter. I think it’s more nuanced than “one played a better game”, they have strong games of different types.
@YuiKaisen@pixelkewie First half of SH3 is outside of Silent Hill and the entirety of SH4 is in Ashfield, so precedent is there. Also Short Message completely confirms it is not specific to only Silent Hill
@Daybreak502@GenePark Yes. Generally more combat oriented but the game has a significant amount of puzzles it seems. From IGN "Playing on the hard puzzle difficulty setting, I was regularly forced to pore over every scrap of information ... for clues, and there are some really clever puzzle sequences"
