Biggest flaw in the Y and Y L influencer videos is that they don’t have kids and assume any “kid” is a baby that uses a car seat (front/rear facing). In reality they spend most of their young lives in booster seats. For example, with a regular booster seat it is very difficult for a child to buckle themselves in on a Model X captains chair. The booster covers the buckle because the seats are not very wide at all. So I imagine this will be absolutely horrible in a tiny Y L.
@hamids Yes, his timelines and figures are ambitious. However, I’m curious what internal SpaceX info you’re reporting on that leads you to be correct? What data did you get access to?
Anyone who argues against a Land Rover I automatically assume has never sat in or driven one. I recently sold my 2025 Range Rover Sport and that thing was AMAZING. The build on that and other cars I’ve owned such as the X5 are solid. However, the R2 has a similar level of build to it. Super solid doors that feel very European and less Tesla.
I have two Powerwall 3s. By 10pm they are almost completely empty. It’s $10–13k to get just 13.5kWh if I want to add one on. That’s insane right? Is the future just doing PowerShare with a car and ditching the powerwalls?
Two things are true…
The people saying it doesn’t matter because 99.9999% of people won’t have this issue are just idiots. They don’t understand why as a modern country we have invested so much in accessibility and I hope it never impacts them.
The other is that there are many ways to still tell this is your vehicle since Tesla also invests heavily in accessibility, so you’re basically crying for nothing.
@thedooberhead It must be a paycheck which has a different financial code (so X will know it’s not a real direct deposit) Just transferring $1k will not work.
@vileTexan Honestly, I expected the usual X behavior. Financial gurus crawling out from the basements to tell you this was a bad decision. However, super positive comments which is nice to see. Congrats! 👏
Okay serious question for those heavily using X Money. I needed to pay a bill that required my routing and account number. I needed to go into the X app to get the details. After 5 minutes of scrolling my feed I remembered I went in to get account info and then tapped into X Money.
Short attention span, or are others falling into this trap 😅?
