34. 3x founder. Optimist. Recovering “gifted child.”
Building in stealth. (More on that soon.)
Sharing everything I wish I would’ve known 10 years ago.
Really don’t understand why certain content creators feel the need to post their houses, cars etc in plain view on IG.
We live in the AI era. People are envious & desperate! You’re a couple prompts away from someone running up on you with bad intentions.
Food for thought!
If you don’t give up you will win eventually.
It may take 3 years, 10 years, or even 15. But if you don’t give up — if you stay alive, keep pivoting, keep getting up after being knocked down, you will win eventually.
People that refuse to quit have a 100% hit rate of winning.
@NBA Until the result of a flop is an immediate loss of possession, these flops will keep ruining the integrity of the game we all love.
You don’t need to call a tech. When someone flops, just blow the whistle and give the other team the ball.
I bet you it stops.
Everyone wants to be a “founder” but this is what it’s really like.
Most companies die because fair-weather founders start them. Don’t play this game if you’re not cut out for what it’s really about.
Everyone loves the idea of being a founder until:
• You’re 5 years in & growth story is dead
• Your co-founders have all left.
• You have 45 days of runway & 20 families to feed.
• Investors are ghosting you.
• Your competitors are now 20x u
Yet you still have to believe.
There’s a special place in my heart for adults that crave validation from social media.
Not even trying to be facetious or sarcastic — I genuinely hope these people find peace, purpose and internal validation at some point in their lives.
It’s sad to watch.
Money can’t buy style.
Money can’t buy taste.
Money can’t buy charisma.
Money can’t buy character.
Money can’t buy you genuine friends.
Money can’t buy aura.
But most importantly, money can’t make people fu*k with you for YOU and NOT your money.
Every day I realize more and more that the most brilliant thing you can do as a founder is just not give up.
SO may companies end up shuttering because the founder doesn’t have the resilience and resourcefulness to just stay alive until the win happens.
