Basically twitter is no longer a place for creatives to thrive. TikTok and insta seem to be better bets overall. Engagement has tanked over the years so what’s the point?

But most of all it’s become overrun with right wing bs that i can’t avoid anymore.

AI art is just one way that instant gratification culture has manifested itself. People refuse to work/wait towards something: they want it NOW. It’s consumerist hell. Learning to create is an incredible skill(and feeling!)that people will never experience bc they’re just lazy

I went off on a tangent but regardless. It’s frustrating to see the replies on the original thread because it’s just a showcase of how consumer culture + lack of education on a topic = degradation of these novelties, lack of respect for them, etc.
