@ChampionsLeague Cold replay 🧊 : it’s actually the 4th capital-vs-capital final in European Cup history. After 1962, 1966 and 1971 !
Which three finals came before ? Hint : Real Madrid played in two of them.
@RealityLfc Imagine Barcola and Kvara on the left, Dembélé and Diomandé up front, and Doué and Akliouche on the right—with all six capable of drifting out of position while remaining highly effective. Talk about demoralizing an opponent with substitutions like that in the 60th minute
@RealityLfc We don't know where Luis plans to play him; at 19, he has huge potential waiting to be polished, and with a coach like that, he could well end up as Demblé’s backup in the false-nine role.
@oAzzoo Il y’a peut être aussi une historie comptable avec les amortissements , ils ont payé pour ses bons et loyaux services et revendu quasi à l’équilibre comptable et à sa vrai valeur marché (questionnement pas d’affirmation 🤝)
@kokoro_master09@ChampionsLeague You called it : whoever gets the chance. That was the game. PSG had 75 % of the ball, 21 shots, but 0.93 xG once you take out the penalty. Arsenal made 0.01 xG after halftime. No chance came from open play. A penalty settled it. You read it right before kickoff.
Following up on this. Right now the odds make PSG the favourite, around 57%, Arsenal the outsider.
And in the last 15 @ChampionsLeague finals, only one underdog ever won it.
So this one's for everyone feeling certain tonight: forget the exact score for a second.
On the fundamentals, not the scoreline, do you actually think you're the favourite, and why ? Bookmark it. Sunday we check the call against the result. @PSG_inside@Arsenal #UCLfinal #PSGArsenal
"Not doubting them anymore." Fans say this before every final.
Last year @Inter walked in with three European titles and full belief. @PSG_inside beat them 5-0. Confidence is how you feel tonight, not how it ends. Bookmark this. Sunday we check. @ChampionsLeague#UCLfinal #PSGArsenal
@Molema_molema@connorcrd You leaned Arsenal too. They led early, PSG pulled it level, then it went to penalties. Gabriel's miss settled it. Came down to inches.
@FreeDonTheYouth@connorcrd You had Arsenal edging it. They led at 6 mins and held it deep for an hour.
Not a wild game, a locked one.
A penalty leveled it, then it went all the way to spot kicks.
@PauloZkn@connorcrd Arsenal led early but sat deep rather than ran it.
No 3-1, went all the way to penalties.
The shape call was the right instinct though.
@Grubify_@connorcrd Went back to your three. Opener came the other way, Havertz finishing after it broke to him off Trossard.
xG gap was real but mostly the penalty, not final-third control. The reads were sharp, the night just broke different.
Match day is here ⚽
Yesterday we froze the noise.
Tonight we run it back cold at full time.

Tactically:
Arsenal are a lot stronger now compared to last season’s meeting. With Gabriel and Havertz likely to feature after missing the previous match, and Eze and Gyökeres adding goals, they’ve addressed the attacking weakness that cost them in that tie.
PSG probably have the best attack in Europe right now. They’re not as solid defensively as they were last season — GK situation, CB options haven't stepped up in the absence of first choice pairing; but they can mitigate it by keeping the ball.
The tricky part for Arsenal is picking the perfect approach. Do they press aggressively and force PSG into awkward positions, or sit back and exploit the space Hakimi and Mendes leave on transitions?
PSG's fluid movement will cause Arsenal problems too: Who picks up Dembele when he drops deep? How will they cope with overloads on both flanks?
Psychological:
PSG have the edge – defending champions, momentum (consecutive final appearances) and experience.
Winning the PL is an understated boost for Arsenal. It cleared every doubts about the team's ability to compete and WIN. The weight of expectation should be bearable now.
Prediction:
It's closer than most people realize but PSG's attack tilts this in their favor. You know what to expect, not so much with Arsenal.
League Cup final comes to mind. It depends on what Arteta wants. The quality is undeniable, but the approach could define this final.
3-1 PSG
