Leaving for Dallas at 6am Thursday. Chicago the weekend after that.

I have never felt more prepared heading into back to back trade shows. I have also never had this much left on my to-do list 48 hours out.

Somehow that is just how this works.

Took my son, Kevin, to a reptile show today.

I never pushed him toward this hobby because I love it. Watching him find his way to it on his own over the past few months has been one of the most rewarding things I have experienced as a dad.

Wrapped up a great day vending the Hilton Head Seafood Festival with Lowcountry Olive Oil.

Busy all day, great people, and a lot of first-time samplers who left left as first time customers.

One uninterrupted hour of watching stand up comedy on Netflix with my wife on a Friday night.

With building four businesses, having an hour without someone needing something absolutely counts as a win.

First half thoughts:

1) One team looked ready for the spotlight and one did not...and surprisingly it was not the 2 time defending champs.

2) The commercials have been a significant upgrade over recent years.

3) Can we please stop trying to modernize the national anthem.

Potentially my favorite part of Thanksgiving is the day after Thanksgiving sandwich! Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and gravy on toasted bread. Don't hate it til you try it!

Tranparently, I have not watched much Boise State football this year. Ashton Jeanty is amazing to watch and definitely lives up to the hype. I love Thankgiving, where games are spread out all weekend, and we get to see teams that we may not have seen much of so far this season.
