He chuckles softly when he notices Josephine’s icing covered grabby hands reaching for her gifts.

I think perhaps Josephine heard my complaints and blessed me with her presence early. Jayce is finally getting some sleep. I’ve been told he was up all night watching over me and the baby. I’ve never felt so lucky.
