So you are a pro/super competitive player, so they need to cater everything to you? Weapon tuning, movement, aim assist, etc. They did that with Gears 4/5 and look what happened.

I’ve noticed from my recent post a lot of people are really enjoying Gears of War: E-Day, and I’m glad to hear that. But I wanted to give my perspective on why I personally don’t enjoy it.

For those who don’t know, my background has always been competitive. I spent most of my time in privates/custom matches across every Gears, playing GameBattles, Tournaments, and competing in Esports rather than public matches.

Here's my biggest issues with E-Day PvP:

• The Gnasher feels too weak, making playing for damage feel pointless. Shotgun fights often play out like a 50/50 coin toss.

• Aim assist is too strong. At times it feels like the game is aiming for you.

• Movement feels too slow. The slide-to-cover speed makes it extremely difficult to make someone miss. Overall, the movement feels like you’re playing in mud.

• Power weapons are too OP. The Striga is one of the most broken weapons in the game — one-shot kills at short range and one-shot downs from medium range. Also having the Heavy Boomshot, Troika, and Vulcan in a multiplayer match just doesn't make sense.

Other than that the gameplay to me just feels so basic. I understand the game only been out 5 days so hoping to see some good changes sooner than later.

At the end of the day these are just my personal opinions on the game from my POV. I know what i typed won't change anything but I’m glad people are enjoying the game and hopefully when Ranked comes out I'll have some type of dopamine.

I love most of it except for the ranked being delayed to allow players to adjust. That is why there is a quickplay scene. If you’re not ready for ranked; you stay in quickplay and vice versa. Please make it available at launch or at least October 6th.

@GearsofWar Guys, allow ranked. Ranked is for ranked and competitive people. There is no reason to give anyone time to adjust. If you’re not, go to quickplay. That’s their decision.
