i started running distance (and track/cross country in general), during my sophomore year. I opened up with a 5:03 for my first ever 1600. Looking back, that time wasn’t all too great, but i’m proud that exactly one year later i am running 30 seconds faster this junior season.

We had a great day at the BFND Invitational. Lots of prs and great races. Zakaria Ayub placed 13th in the varsity boys race and Natalie Willingham placed 7th in the JV girls race. Our Mavericks of the meet were Zakaria Ayub and Grace Shofowora. 👏💜🤍#FastMavs #BuiltMortonTough
