A boy said he went to Kalyan railway station in Maharashtra to drop his family off for their train. The train was originally scheduled to leave at 12 noon, but later they were told it would arrive at 2 PM.

He had bought a platform ticket and waited with his family. However, the train kept getting delayed. Around 5 PM, when he was helping his family board the train and was about to leave, a TTE stopped him and asked for his platform ticket.

He showed the ticket, but the TTE told him that a platform ticket is valid only for 2 hours. Since more than 2 hours had passed, he was fined ₹500.

The boy then raised a simple question: if the train was delayed for several hours because of the railway, why should the passenger be held responsible for staying at the station?

He had purchased a valid platform ticket and was only there to drop his family.

If the delay was caused by the railway, shouldn’t there be some consideration for passengers and their families who are forced to wait longer?

It raises a genuine question about whether passengers should be fined when they remain at the station because of a railway delay.

गौरव वर्मा का क्लेम नहीं हो रहा है लेकिन Policy Bazaar वालों को उनकी पॉलिसी रिन्यू करवाने के लिए बार बार फोन करना है।

7 साल से हेल्थ इंश्योरेंस भर रहे थे, पैंक्रियाटाइटिस हो गया तो क्लेम नहीं हो रहा है।

Niva Bupa की पॉलिसी है, Policy Bazaar से ली थी।

7 साल में गौरव वर्मा का ये पहला क्लेम था।

पेनक्रियाटाइटिस डिटेक्ट हुआ, उत्तराखंड के रुद्रपुर में आयुर्वेदिक सेंटर में 1 जुलाई से 21 जुलाई तक एडमिट रहे,

करीब 1 लाख 90 हज़ार का इलाज हुआ।

इलाज खत्म होते ही 22 जुलाई को ही इंटिमेशन दे दी,

फॉर्म भरे सारे डॉक्यूमेंट्स के साथ बिल रिपोर्ट्स, हार्ड कॉपी तक भेज दी,

एजेंट घर आया वेरिफिकेशन के लिए, उसको भी सब कुछ शेयर किया।

फिर भी क्लेम रिजेक्ट कर दिया,

वजह बताई कि आप जस्टिफाई नहीं कर पा रहे कि हॉस्पिटल क्यों गए।

क्लोज नंबर तक ठीक से नहीं बता पा रहे,

Policy Bazaar कुछ और बोल रहा है, Niva Bupa कुछ और।

ना कोई वेटिंग पीरियड बचा था ना कोई फ्रॉड था ना कुछ छुपाया।

सबसे बड़ी बात की

गौरव की पॉलिसी 31 अगस्त को रिन्यू होने वाली है और पिछले महीने से

Policy Bazaar उन्हें 50 से 60 बार कॉल कर रहा है सिर्फ रिन्यूअल करवाने के लिए,

लेकिन क्लेम के लिए महीनेभर में सिर्फ एक कॉल आया,

वो भी बस इतना कि अंडर वेरिफिकेशन है जी।

रिन्यूअल के लिए इतनी कॉल्स, क्लेम के वक्त एक भी मदद नहीं।

गौरव कहते हैं कि 2026 में सबसे ज़्यादा कंप्लेंट पाने वाली कंपनियों में Niva Bupa तीसरे नंबर पर है और सबसे ज़्यादा क्लेम रिजेक्शन भी इन्हीं का है।

गौरव वर्मा का बस एक सवाल है, 7 साल प्रीमियम भरने के बाद पहली ज़रूरत पर कंपनी मुंह मोड़ ले तो इंश्योरेंस का क्या फायदा है।
