Patrick Njiru: A long time ago, when I wanted to become a priest, a lady got pregnant and gave birth to a white child. There was only one white man around, the priest. When he was asked about it, he said the child was from God, and they believed him

"Itakuwa 99 paracet. Hata huyo mmoja ni kutoroka atatoroka tu" ~ Olkalou residents. Please don't tag anyone saying TUTAM. This might cause headache.
OLKALOU is showing Kasongo dust.
Something funny happened today in Ol Kalau, the government was at Gwa Kiongo Dam earlier today, donated 2 speadboats worth Ksh. 5M and fingerlings plus handouts running into millions of shillings. After they left, residents called the DCP candidate Sammy Kamau Ngotho, waited for him patiently and guess what? They handed him part of the handouts that the government gave them😳😳😳😳. They went greeting him with the money the government gave them. Urging him not to campaign in the area as all votes were his. The government is finding it soo hard in Mt Kenya
President William Ruto could temporarily lose executive authority during election periods if a proposed constitutional amendment by civil society group Kuna Dawa succeeds.
The reform seeks to amend the Constitution of Kenya 2010 to transfer executive powers from the sitting president to the Chief Justice during the electioneering period. Under the proposal, the Chief Justice would serve as Interim President until the swearing-in of the President-elect.

Imagine your governor has stolen funds, Senate is grilling the governor, and you are protesting to protect the governor. Who is the problem here?
Samburu county you let yourselves down.
🚨 There’s a SACCO bill in Parliament today, and most Kenyans don’t even know what’s coming.
Quietly... with almost no public attention…
A system is being introduced that will centralize SACCO money, and Govt will now have a massive say in it.
Think of it as a “Super SACCO” for all SACCOs.
It will:
- Hold funds from different SACCOs
- Manage liquidity
- Run payments
- Lend to SACCOs
- Invest your money
Sounds safe? Here’s the reality:
❗ SACCOs could lose some operational independence
❗ Oversight becomes much heavier (via Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority)
❗ Leaders must meet “fit & proper” approval
❗ Strict reporting & constant supervision
And yes, this could mean slower access to your money in some situations.
Now the part they won’t emphasize:
Your savings are only protected up to KSh 100,000
If a SACCO collapses?
Anything above that = your risk.
Even worse:
⚠️ Payouts are NOT immediate
⚠️ Must be approved & gazetted first
⚠️ You could wait while your money is locked
So ask yourself:
Why centralize SACCO money...
But limit protection for members?
This bill is being sold as “safety.”
But it also introduces control by the government, delays, and new risks for ordinary Kenyans.
This is how systems change,
slowly, quietly... then permanently
This is a very serious issue BUT very hilarious at the same time. Kenyan politics is going to show us stuff we are not used to. Omwami tunaenda vipi @edwinsifuna ?
