Contrary to opinions that has been flying since morning on this issue, relating to ISLAM; things we should know.

1. Polygamy is not a COMMANDMENT FROM ALLAH, it’s a SUGGESTION, commandment is what you must do either you like it or not, polygamy is not a must. Allah only suggested it for us that we should do it if we are capable, so we should stop saying polygamy as a commandment from Allah.

2. Any Muslim lady who is a second wife is not snatching the husband from the first wife, as the first wife was married, so is the second wife, the husband belong to both/all the wives equally, no wife owns him more than the other wife.

3. Muslim men have no right to beat their wives, the Quran verses that has been circulating is not what you translate it to be, there is something called Tafsir, and you’ll have to be sound in knowledge of Tafsir to translate that verse.

4. It’s right, expected and normal for every women to be jealous if her husband want to take another wife, the most pious Muslim women were the wives of Prophet Mohammad, and they all were jealous of each other.

5. It’s very wrong for Muslim man or women to say it openly (or have it in mind) that he or she hates polygamy, no muslim has right to hate what Allah suggested. That’s why HE is Allah, whatever he want, we must follow.

6. No Muslim should visit soothsayers, Alfa, Cele or anyone to bewitch or spiritually tie another Muslim, such person has associate power to other than Allah, and that’s an act of disbelief, that if such person die within 40 days of visiting such people, he or she is going to hellfire cos he or she has died as an unbeliever, hence, if he or she lives more than 40 days after visiting these people, Allah will not accept his or her act of worship for 40 days as a penalty for visiting the soothsayers.

7. On judgement day, among the people that will face humiliation and disgrace from Allah are those that practice polygamy wrongly. Ibn Majah narrate in his Hadith that “Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has two(or more) wives and is inclined to one of them (than the other) will come on the Day of Resurrection with one side of his body hanging down.”

You can disagree with this but don’t abuse me, I’ll not do bigger person, I’ll abuse you back.
