- Ad breaks disguised as hydration breaks.
- Players waiting for music to stop to restart match.
- Atrocious/suspicious officiating.
- Visa’s preventing fans entry into the US.
- Overpriced tickets/travel.
- Not allowing interviews in Spanish.
An embarrassment of a World Cup.
2010. South Africa. They said theft will be at an all-time high. Unsafe for world cup. Didn't happen.
2014. Brazil. Complained about some of the remote places the venues were. Unsafe for players. Didn't happen.
2018. Russia. "It's not a democracy". There would be marginalization. People would not even be free or allowed entry. Didn't happen.
2022. Qatar. " Slave built stadiums ". A morally bankrupt nation. " It cannot be fun". The tournament is horrible. No alcohols. Religious intolerance. Didn't happen.
2026. US. All the above happening.
We see.
Nothing exposes the failure of a security system more than a General falling into the hands of bandits. If a General isn't safe, what hope is there for ordinary citizens?
When a law abiding citizen is kidnapped by terrorist bandits, his family suffers and raises the ransom funds, the govt does nothing!
But when the bandit terrorists are arrested, the govt rehabilitate them, buy houses for them, and release them back into the society! Nigeria 💔
I need y’all to watch Madubin Africa on YouTube and listen to the lamentations of kidnapping victims. They look like you and me, ordinary people whose only crime was being in the wrong place at the wrong time.Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un.
if bago can’t finish a road in 4 years, why bring him back? if dikko can’t keep katsina safe, why re-elect him? if sokoto boy can’t provide basic boreholes, why reward failure? many of them don’t deserve another day in office.
Nothing angers me more than repentant bandits. It’s not like these people committed petty theft o,or any forgivable crime. These guys kidnap, torture, rape their victims and kill them. Only God is supposed to judge them and the earlier they are sent to him,the better.
Madina has followed up on so many stories about insecurity, she has gone to the frontlines and risked herself by asking powerful people dangerous questions. What we won’t do, is downplay her amazing work as a journalist.
if a retired major general can be kidnapped and killed you must be out of your damn mind if you think it can’t be you cause you are in the comfort of your home
It takes a commissioned officer in the Nigerian Army a minimum of 25 to 30 years of active, uninterrupted service to reach the rank of Major General. 30+ active years of service to his country, but look at how the system neglected him in those hard times.
This is someone that dedicated his whole life in service to Nigeria, who contributed more than those currently in Government, whose only contribution is looting our resources and buying their ways to power.
This is really heartbreaking 💔
One of the most disturbing things about the reality of banditry (read as terrorism) is how little we actually know about the true scale of human captivity across the country. There is no clear, centralized or reliable way of accounting for the number of people who have been abducted and are still being held. What this means is that the figures we hear publicly are likely only a fraction of what is really happening. A significant number of cases never make it into official records at all, either because they are not reported, deliberately kept quiet due to fear, or they simply get lost in the chaos of repeated attacks.
Wallahi, mafi yawancin lokaci, dukiya mai tarin yawa, sharrinta ya fi alkhairanta yawa.
Until you have the money to finance your temptations, do not brag about morals. A lot is hidden in poverty.
Madallah da dukiya mai yawa hannun bawa na gari.
Allah ya sa mu dace ameen.
I can't put into words the pain I feel whenever I see terrorists rehabilitation news. A lot of them have been caught going back to their old ways and acting as informants. Insecurity has been made into a money making venture at the cost of peoples lives.
An entire state can get wiped out in one night and Nigerians will go to work the next day. We’re being exposed to an insane level of violence and we’re scrolling away
