- Nebraska (multiple natty games)
- Ohio State ('02 and '25)
- Penn State (3-3 series split from '80 to '92, including '87 Fiesta Bowl)
- Wisconsin (3 bowl games in 9 years from '09 to '18 including Orange Bowl...plus Xavier Lucas lawsuit)
- Maryland and Rutgers (former conf foes)

A Big Ten move could also launch a rivalry with USC (arguably most similar school to Miami in the nation), Oregon (b/c of the Mario connection), and Indiana (forever connected by the '26 Natty game)
