My sister was blamed for being infertile. They kept visiting the same doctor for seven years. He was a male doctor. She wasn't educated, so she didn't know how to read the reports. The doctor kept convincing them that my sister was the problem and that her husband was completely fine. My mom told them to visit another doctor…a female doctor. When they visited that female doctor, she saw the reports, she said my sister was totally fine. The problem was with her husband, he can never become a father. My sister was blamed for years for being infertile, when the whole time it was just medical misogyny.
