So we met in UNN. I was in 300 level while he was doing his Masters. He owned this small cyber cafe where I always went to type and print assignments. One thing led to another, we became friends…and after he graduated, we started dating. He was based in Lagos btw, and our love became so sweet and serious. But after graduation, life wasn’t easy for him. He was broke and jobless. I still remember how he had just one shirt for interviews 😭 Sometimes I��d send him money from the little allowance my parents gave me so he could buy things he needed. We prayed together too because I genuinely believed in him. Fast forward to when Ambode became governor of Lagos state, he finally got a job 🥹 I was soooo happy for him. The moment he received his first salary, he invited me to Lagos to “spoil me”....I guess🤧 Guys… the experience was beautiful ngl I stayed in his friend’s apartment since he was still living with his parents. I even met his mum once or twice, although we didn’t really vibe 😂 Kelvin and I did so many sweet things together. We went to a studio and took cute pictures, then printed copies for both of us 🥺 We also went shopping and I still remember market women calling us husband and wife 😂😂 And the s£x? Omoh…let’s just say I was blushing after every round 😭 It was amazing 😩 I stayed for about a week (my mum must never see this part) before heading back to school. Everything seemed normal… until TWO days later. This man sent me a breakup text 😳 Guys, I cleaned my eyes several times because I thought I was reading it wrong. I called him nonstop but he never picked up. Eventually, he blocked me everywhere. I cried ehnnnnnn😭 Burnt our pictures. Threw away the things he bought for me. Thankfully, my friend Caro stayed by my side through it all 🥺 She checked on me like a nurse monitoring a patient because my spirit almost comot my body😭 If not for God, I would’ve failed that semester. Eventually, I moved on… but I never forgot. Kelvin, wherever you are, I genuinely wish you well… but somebody must do this exact thing to your daughter one day 😏😭
