Break-even = the exact price where your trade is ZERO profit and ZERO loss… AFTER fees.

It’s NOT always your entry price.

Simple breakdown:

→ Long trade break-even = Entry price + fees (slightly higher)
→ Short trade break-even = Entry price − fees (slightly lower)

Trading fees + funding rates are the hidden killers most people miss.

Real example right now:
You enter a Long on BTC at $69,000
Your true break-even might be ~$69,050 (after fees)

If price goes to $70,000 → profit ✅
If it drops to $68,900 → loss ❌

Why this matters:
• Know exactly when to move your Stop-Loss to breakeven
• Protect your capital once price moves in your favor
• Stop turning winning trades into losers
