When the mindset of this government, including the President and his supporters, is that the insecurity in the North is part of a political agenda aimed at removing him from office, then we should not expect any decisive or extraordinary efforts to address it.

To this government, the problem appears to be viewed through a political lens rather than as a national emergency. And if that is the perception, then the expectation seems to be that the region should simply bear the consequences.

What they often conveniently ignore however, is that insecurity was also a major challenge throughout the eight years of late President Buhari's administration. Who was supposedly fueling it then? Were Southerners orchestrating violence to make a Northern presidency ungovernable, or were Northerners plotting to remove Buhari from office too?

The reality is that insecurity in Nigeria is a complex and longstanding national problem that needs coordinatd effort from all levels of government from the ward to the federal, from the government to the citizens. Reducing it to political conspiracies may be convenient, but it does little to address the suffering of ordinary citizens who continue to pay the ultimate price, some with their lives!

Let me tell a story of Mallam behind the scene.

This video of Nasarawa Tik-Tocker who always abuse the governor. There used to be a man who always go on air in Kaduna to abuse and criticize Mallam @elrufai when he was a governor, one day Mallam requested the man should be brought to him but make he comes on keke and not to pay rather Mallam will pay. He arrived and was directed through the second gate of the government house he dropped and while requested the kek man should wait and when he got in he was giving N500K to go give the keke man as a typical Nigerian we never fail to amuse, as the man got there he paid the Keke the actual price of N500 and pocket the remaining, as the Keke man left he was stopped around the first gate and was asked how much received from the man he just dropped and replied he just paid him his money.

Mallam received the information, he was jovial, smiling with the man asking why always attacking him . After all was done a car was pointed and was told that car supposed to be yours and some cash but you failed the generosity test, you that is always on air attacking you are one of those when given opportunity will do worse. That was how Mallam ended that man carrier of going on air to abuse Mallam. A very smart way to deal with these charlatans.

Alhamdulillah it's Saturday the 23rd of May 2026, We are up and grateful, we thank the Almighty but again we have an issue bothering us, we won't relent, we won't sit back, we won't sleep on this matter we won't watch.

We shall continue to call out the government reminding them that Mallam @elrufai have been in illegal detention for over 95 days on a bailable accusations, he spent the whole Ramadan and celebrated his Eid-fitr in isolation, it's another season of Eid-kabir and it's most likely he will be in there to celebrate.

The violations are gross and with all the persecution he never gave in, we pray may the Almighty keep him in good health and safeguard him and for the tormentors may the Almighty carry out your affairs the way you are handling Mallam and Nigeria as a whole.
