Expectations lead to disappointment, I get that.
Nobody can control macro market conditions, truly predict the performance of an asset, etc. It's the risk we take.

It's just difficult to digest the prospect of waiting additional multiple years when life can derail you at anytime. Time isn't just discipline or belief, time is change and variables. It can be difficult to sit on assets even if you hold conviction, belief, or devotion to them if life demands it. Still obviously outside of anyone's control, but so much can change in 2 years.
