Not wanting a disabled child isn’t selfish. What’s selfish is prioritizing your own desire to become a parent over the potential suffering of the child you’re choosing to bring into the world. Having a child is your choice; living with the consequences is theirs. The least you can do is consider their quality of life before making a decision they will have no say in.
