Saddened by the loss Robert “Rob Base” Ginyard. Together with the late DJ E-Z Rock, he lit up dance floors everywhere with that unmistakable energy. From “It Takes Two” getting crowds moving to “Joy and Pain” capturing life in rhythm: his music helped shape a whole era. Another pioneer gone too soon.
Rest in Power, Rob Base.
We’re deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Philipp Jung — one half of M.A.N.D.Y and co-founder of the legendary Get Physical Music.
Alongside Patrick Bodmer, DJ T. and Booka Shade, Philipp helped build one of the most influential electronic music labels of the 2000s, shaping a generation of house and tech house culture through timeless records and an unmistakable underground spirit.
From era-defining releases like ‘Body Language’ to the wider sound and identity of Get Physical, Philipp’s contribution to dance music cannot be overstated. His influence reached clubs, festivals and dancefloors across the world and inspired countless artists, labels and fans along the way.
His passing is a huge shock to the global electronic music community and to all of us who grew up around the music and culture he helped create.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends and everyone at Get Physical Music.
Rest in peace, Philipp 🖤
@BradYNWA6 I was at the match fella so can’t comment about what you heard but you’d have thought anyone who wants Arsenal to win the league over LFC or City, it’d be Neville
Ex-Israeli minister Ayalon: "There is no famine in Gaza."
Me: "Why does the IPC say there is a famine?"
Ayalon: "The IPC changed the criteria."
Me: "That's a lie. What criteria did they change?"
Ayalon: "They changed many criteria."
