IUCRC BRAIN Director Dr. Jose Contreras-Vidal gave a lecture on July 13th over noninvasive brain-machine interfaces after injury. It included intricate details of brain-powered exoskeletons, how to predict movement intent from scalp EEG, and the challenges faced along the way.
On July 11th, assistant professor of psychology Dr. Michael Williams spoke to our interns about his research. He educated students on how to examine neuropsychological aspects of disability, as well as how the brain functions after neurological injury.
