….AND toe pressures is NOT part of your routine practice/teaching…

It’s now modern practice and in guidelines!

Toe pressures tell you about perfusion in the foot itself whereas ABPI only tells you about the leg. Toe pressures are equally helpful for leg ulcer compression when ABPIs are too painful.

Vascular referral forms with #WIFi should be standard practice.

They are becoming more common across Greater Manchester but should be used much wider for patients with lower limb ulcers

The moment you realise what impact you have on patients. Seeing this gentleman for about 2 years:diagnosed with with CLI - had undergone revascularisation and seeing him since then regularly. Today he told me he may go into a home and thanking me for everything I did for him 🥹
