@anastasia_ceo LET'S GOOOO ๐๐ it's finally real
download it, use it, break it, tell us what's wrong with it, all of it helps
This whole thing started as a hackathon idea and now it's actually on the App Store, wild ๐
Finally! ๐ SubscriBee is live! ๐
My subscription manager is officially out.
Would love your downloads, feedback and honest thoughts ๐
Your support means a lot โค๏ธ

ForFS why does Apple keep throwing these random errors, I swear their whole review process feels broken this year
with so many "vibe coded" apps flooding the store now, Apple needs to revisit their review policies...
#buildinpublic#indiedevs#Appstore
Was setting up publishing on Samsung Store and out of habit (like on other stores) just selected China for distribution.
Turns out to actually sell an app in China you need a Business License Number, mainland China legal entity registration, AND Software Copyright ๐
#indiedevs
Has anyone ever encountered the app being in review for like 2 days? I mean not "waiting to start", they actually picked it up and started testing, and it's been more than 2 days since then..
Maybe a glitch?
Have you seen smth like that?

No product works better than the one made for yourself โบ๏ธ
@anastasia_ceo lived with that "ugly but it worked" Notion + n8n setup way too long (few month) lol. Building the actual thing now ๐
#buildinpublic#Shipaton#indiedev
Before SubscriBee:
Notion list
n8n workflow
Telegram ping when something renews
It worked.
It was alsoโฆ ugly and easy to ignore.
Same problem, higher bar now:
something Iโd actually open every month.
โBeforeโ screenshots below.
โAfterโ when the real build is live ๐
Whatโs your version of a hacky system you outgrew?

Pretty much all our apps on finally launched on both platforms now.
So gere's how it's going for me and @anastasia_ceo Just need one more 1-star review to complete the set ๐
Next goal js 50x current MRR.
What are your numbers looking like so far?
1 week after launching on Google Play ๐
New customers: 354 โ 703
Active users: 358 โ 709
Subscriptions: 2 โ 3
MRR: $42 โ $52
The Play Store launch definitely moved the numbers ๐
Now the interesting part is turning those downloads into paying users ๐

Been thinking about ad strategy for apps lately, so I'm watching other ads more closely ๐ค
And keep noticing this in that Duolingo ad guy brags about being good at saving money, AND driving, but he is literally driving on the lane markings the whole time๐
#marketing#Indiedevs
First review on the app just dropped ๐ ... and it's a 1-star โ ๏ธ
Messaged the reviewer asking what happened, no reply yet...
So how do you handle this? Any tricks that actually work?
#BuildInPublic#indiedev
Ship fast and messy, or slow and right? What actually works?
Been thinking about this after messing with subscription prices yesterday.
Turns out I set them almost randomly when building the apps, like $4/month sitting next to $20/year on the same one ๐
#BuildInPublic
Shipped a couple apps this month. Checking Play Console data and it is oddly fascinating but confusing๐ "device acquisitions" apparently just means installs, right? 301 of them for on the app and still revenue 4$ ๐ซ
#indiedevs#BuildInPublic
Checked Apple too, similar story revenue-wise, but way fewer impressions there than on Play.
So genuinely asking: is Play Store as bad as everyone says, or are we just missing something?
