SI’s @ivanbball13 believes the biggest difference-maker for the Thunder next season is a healthy Jalen Williams.
“While there’s some case to be made for just about every option, given Oklahoma City’s pool of assets, the biggest difference-maker for the Thunder next season would simply be a healthy Williams. After earning All-NBA and All-Defensive honors in his third season and helping the Thunder to a championship, it’s clear that Williams has the makings of a true two-way superstar. Williams may not necessarily reach the individual heights of someone like Kawhi Leonard, but his importance to the Thunder is just as impactful as any star forward with his skillset.”

I don’t understand how this has become a thing people are upset about. Do Knicks fans think the Spurs are supposed to give the road team a hype video and special intro music for a Finals game?
Writing this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time. Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once. And being a @toystory kid from the age of 5 til now… is an adventure I plan to be on, to infinity and beyond.
Thank you to the brilliant Andrew Stanton for imagining me for this, all those years ago when you wrote this newest film. Thank you to the incomparable @RandyNewman or the gorgeous sonic tapestry of songs and scores you’ve meticulously woven over the years. You created the Toy Story musical world, and we are lucky to get to live in it.
By we, I mean myself and my pal @jackantonoff. We wrote this with so much adoration for these characters that made us laugh and helped us learn lessons and think outside the backyard all throughout our childhoods. “I Knew It, I Knew You” from Toy Story 5 is out everywhere now. 🤠🐴

It’s a *Toy* Story 🤠
You knew it! My new original song “I Knew It, I Knew You” for Disney and @Pixar’s @toystory 5 will be yours on June 5th. I’ve always dreamed of getting to write for these characters who I’ve adored since I was a 5 year old kid watching the first Toy Story movie. I fell instantly in love with Toy Story 5 when I was lucky enough to see it in its early stages, and I wrote this song as soon as I got home from the screening. Sometimes you just know, right?
You can pre-order now exclusively at https://t.co/NoneI6kxdH and catch Toy Story 5 in theaters June 19th ☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️
Dort isn’t worth the $18 million option for next season, but there’s still a path to him staying. Decline and sign for a team-friendly deal and understanding of a reduced role is the path.
Just not sure Lu would want that at this stage of his career if that’s the conversation.
Shai was great tonight and had a great statline, but he definitely had some opportunities to force it a little more offensively. Don’t think we’ll ever get any Russ-like 40+ shot elimination game from him, but 21 shot attempts with the help he had is honestly a bit low.
Leaning Spurs in 7 for the Finals, but I’m not entirely sure what to expect. San Antonio has home-court advantage but the Knicks should be a steady jump in level of competition compared to this injury-riddled OKC squad.
OKC’s season ending at home in a Game 7 because it couldn’t bring the same effort as San Antonio is nothing short of embarrassing. Long offseason ahead.
OKC has to make some semi-significant moves in the offseason. Game 7 isn’t over yet and home-court advantage could still be just enough to save them, but this Spurs team may just be better moving forward.
BREAKING: The Orlando Magic are finalizing the hire of San Antonio Spurs associate coach Sean Sweeney as the franchise's new head coach, sources tell ESPN. Sweeney broke into NBA coaching in 2011 and now lands the Magic head job as a top rising candidate.
The Thunder really have to go all in on winning the first few minutes of Game 7. If the Spurs get another early lead, it feels like the season will almost certainly be over.
With a trip to the NBA Finals at stake, the Western Conference Finals heads to a winner-take-all Game 7 on Saturday at 8 PM ET on @NBAonNBC.
This marks the first WCF Game 7 since 2018 (GSW at HOU). It’s also the fifth Game 7 of these playoffs, tying the record for the most in a single season.
