@SweetTooth323 my issue is you can’t seperate statistical minorities from cultural minorities.😭 statistical minorities like billionaires cannot be included in this conversation because they are not the same.
the label polyamory was not coined until 1990. i am obviously talking about modern day people who identify as polyamorous. not ancient greeks who fucked for the fun of it? and the societal debate surrounding polyamory is also a product of modernity. @6centses use ur brain
@SweetTooth323 and if you can’t recognise the overlap between polyamory and lgbtq then there is some work that needs to be done… polyamorous relationships HAVE to consist of one or more same sex people, can you comprehend a venn diagram? x
can you all stop liking your own tweets too just admit you lack world view outside of america and you can’t recognise when a social group you don’t like faces oppression- no it’s not to a large extent but claiming they face none at all is so unsupported and just stupid imo.
@6centses@Borednboring55@SweetTooth323 and tbh i do admit limitation with the AI overview, but this area is a limited topic anyway because of the lack of acknowledgement. polyamorous people are still a very modern, unresearched community due to stigma, and polyamory is an extremely small minority at that
@pmsawyers@Awesomesse ‘real oppression’ starts as social stigma and a lack of legal recognition, aswell as ignorance. the fact you would rather weigh oppression rather than acknowledge that polyamorous people are oppressed even to a fewer extent is crazy? and i am queer im just not ignorant im afraid
@6centses@Borednboring55@SweetTooth323 social stigma is a HISTORICAL example of oppression? where are you getting these fundamentals from. and a literal legal jurisdiction denying them marriage is another form of oppression in black and white. and if you’re only educated on US family law… maybe go back to school?
@6centses@Borednboring55@SweetTooth323 you clearly don’t respect my word, so ive looked into this in YOUR country, to accommodate your small brain, and here you go:
@pmsawyers@Awesomesse and people aren’t just polyamorous to subvert social norms either ??this comment section is dead omg😭, i understand people’s reluctance with polyamorous people esp with the whole ‘why do polyamorous people look like that thing’ but being skeptical doesn’t grant blatant ignorance
@6centses@Borednboring55@SweetTooth323 so your education in US family law grants an unsupported claim? and just because you are uneducated outside of the US does not mean i am also. just because you can’t argue for anything beyond your extremely small view of the world, does not reduce my education or claims
@6centses@Borednboring55@SweetTooth323 and you ignored my point on social recognition which plays a huge factor too? and your perseverance with the ‘uneducated claim’ leads me to believe you’re uneducated lmfao
@6centses@Borednboring55@SweetTooth323 yes, they are, they lack social recognition and in a lot of places legal recognition. i think your world view is extremely narrow, and your use of logical fallacies does not work, and you’re dumb if you think this area has no room for interpretation either
