Calling ICE agents “fascists” is disgraceful, dangerous, and completely unworthy of public office.
If any federal agent violates the Constitution, investigate it and hold that individual accountable. But smearing every ICE officer while passing laws that make immigration enforcement harder only protects lawbreakers and puts Rhode Islanders at greater risk.
As your congressman, I will fight to secure the border, fully support lawful ICE operations, remove violent illegal criminals, and hold every government agency accountable to the Constitution.
Rhode Island needs leaders who defend citizens, respect legal immigrants, and enforce the law not politicians who demonize law enforcement for applause.
Public safety first. American citizens first. The law applies to everyone. 🇺🇸

The White House Government Transparency Task Force just released the first declassified U.S. Intelligence Community records under President Trump's direction.

The findings are alarming.

Voter registration rolls from at least 18 states were compromised by the People's Republic of China. More than 200 million voter records were obtained, names, addresses, phone numbers, party affiliation.

Rhode Island is named on the list.

Right there. In the official White House document.

This is not a partisan talking point. This is a declassified intelligence document from the White House Government Transparency Task Force dated July 13, 2026.

And every Rhode Islander, Republican, Democrat, and Independent, deserves answers.

What information was exposed?

When did it happen?

What was done to protect us?

And why is Seth Magaziner, our sitting congressman, still voting against every measure designed to secure our elections?

He voted against the SAVE Act. Twice.

He supports mail-in ballots without photo ID.

He has never once called for a full accounting of Rhode Island's election security vulnerabilities.

While China reportedly had our voter rolls.

Rhode Island deserves a congressman who treats election security as the national security issue it is, not a partisan football to be kicked aside when it becomes inconvenient.

Full accounting. Stronger security. Complete transparency.

Every legal vote protected.

Rhode Island’s absence from the Great American State Fair is a small story that reveals a large problem: the people officially representing us don’t appear to feel much obligation to do the job.

The more telling detail may be from Massachusetts, where a private citizen stepped in to make sure her state had at least some presence — but feared to give her name to reporters out of fear of political repercussions... for giving out maple syrup. That is where our political culture is.

Rhode Island’s officials and their media explainers have offered the usual fog: funding constraints, no real loss, nothing to see here. But the question is whether anyone even tried to find citizens or groupswilling to represent the state when government wouldn’t.

The answer matters because it points to the deeper condition: Those who hold power know they are insulated from consequences, while those who might better represent the public learn that stepping forward can make them a target.

That’s a bleak way to mark 250 years of the American experiment.
