My kinda hot take is that bisexual characters do not need to be seen dating two or more genders to be seen as bisexual. Some bisexuals only date the same gender and some only date the opposite. That doesn’t make them more or less bisexual
u say blocking but then r in the replies talking abt harassment we are aware blocking and harassing are very different things right. id block for less!
idek what to say this tweet and the replies r just so evil spirited. i genuinely hope some of u do some reflection or something cause i truly cannot picture a scenario where’d i see a queer person experiencing bigotry and my first thought is to blame other queer ppl.
where’s the brigade constantly defending bi women with boyfriends (socially accepted) when it comes to bi women with girlfriends (face constant homophobia)?
@dykegrrl i highly doubt u were aware of this and if were u , u didn’t say shit. if u feel it’s not ur responsibility then 🤐. i have immense respect for the lesbians u mentioned and other queer ppl defending her and the op for bringing awareness. ur post do nothing good for the world.
@dykegrrl please for the love of god stop acting fucking dense and acting like we’re stupid. no one is falling for this. i specifically said “blame other queer ppl” we both know u were not talking abt straight ppl in ur tweet.
like that on top of insisting calling bi4bi or any relationship w a bi person gay/lesbian/straight .. yet act shocked when we say monosexuality is expected in society
some of these tweets show so clearly how biphobes get v insecure and disgusted at the idea of bi ppl acknowledging their attraction to a gender other than their partners gender. and ppl wonder why multi/monosexual are important / relevant terms when discussing bisexuality
cw biphobia
I wasn't sure about posting it but fuck it..
They justify biphobia a lot with "bi women with cishet homophobic bfs" or even bi4bi f/m couples bc "it's still a hetero pair"
But I want to show you how TERRIBLE the community treats bisexuals in same gender couples too
@BrettSchmidt64 because we see it w our own eyes. i can’t say it’s the majority but ive seen many instances of men describing situations that are rape but they don’t actually acknowledge it as rape. https://t.co/BMrw6omYUv
“Playing hard to get” “she gave in eventually” “I waited till she was drunk to get in the mood” if a man says any of this, it’s predatory at best and at worst, means he raped her.
“how do you know what men talk abt” because so many of yall are rapist / friends w rapist and but don’t actually see it as rape. i knew a guy who talked abt remaining friends w someone who “had sex w” a girl passed out drunk at a party. he didn’t understand why i blocked him
@BrettSchmidt64 i think if dach is gonna say “men” as a general statement for the male population u can assume the person who qrted is saying “you” as in the general male population as well. its really not that hard to understand. lets stop acting dense.
@yeehints i think women prolly do watch more women but it’s likely anywhere from a 70-30 to 50-50 split where finding men w anything but a 100-0 split feels rare
@yeehints it might be “easier” for specific things but women are also humans with lived experiences men can 100% relate to the same way women have been able to do with men 🥹
@CrungoCyle do u not see the issue in many women being able to watch male streamers w out finding them attractive and men cant do the same? maybe more men should start viewing women as people who they can also relate to and have similar experiences to instead of just sexual objects 🙂↕️
@OnlyTruthFact5 strange cause i’ve watched women streamers and bantered , usually not an issue as long as u don’t sexually harass them or act like a weirdo 🤷
