@kmr_dilip This is absolute truth - the uncertainty. As a founder I try manage this with the idea of impermanence, highs and lows both shall pass. Keep your head down, keep working and just be an observer when it becomes too much. Compounding is at play here.
I met Shashi (@thiruka), from Akshayakalpa, at a cafe in Indiranagar.
No we didn’t plan on that.
I was sitting on the next table to him where he was sitting alone observing around.
After some hesitation, I approached and said to him (after basic hi/hello intro), “3 years back, we completely switched to Akshayakalpa milk, as soon as our baby was born. “
Being a founder, building and nurturing a strong customer trust is always our North Star. We spoke about building with honesty and integrity, as the right long-term strategy.
Then I left him alone.
He stayed there quietly for quite some time, observing.
PS: Akshayakalpa supplies milk to that café as I could see the staffs handling the milk packets.
That made me wonder what he was really observing :)
Most misleading way to define fibre - soluble and insoluble.
Fibre has two main upstream jobs:
1. Regularity: Push your stool out.
2. Fermentation: Produce SCFAs to fuel the colon lining.
Your 30g daily fibre should Optimise for both.
@vinodchendhil If the purpose of protein is to have effective muscle synthesis then ideally one needs 2.5-3g leucine in a meal. For whey 25-30g and plant based 30-40g should do the job.
One way to think about biological ageing:
Net cellular damage accumulating faster than repair.
You can roughly express it as:
dD(t)/dt= damage flux - repair flux
When repair exceeds damage:
the system restores.
When damage exceeds repair:
the system drifts toward dysfunction.
A surprising amount of biology sits downstream of this balance:
ROS, autophagy, sleep, circadian rhythm, mitochondrial stress.
We increasingly don’t think food is just calories.
At @AkunkaFoods, we think of it as input into this balance system.
Disclaimer: any resemblance to a film poster is purely coincidental ;)

We built an online game to explain a coffee.
At @AkunkaFoods we just launched #RedCoffee - isn’t your regular coffee. It’s built on how your cells behave.
The game is built on:
- Your cell running through daily life.
- Damage and Repair are the choices to make.
- Some restore balance, some disrupt.
Red Coffee is now live.
Beetroot + Arabica
Two complementary mechanisms. One cup.
Play it: https://t.co/QHBdcYLvrq
One cup. Two mechanisms. Think in Flow.
30 people. 4 courses.
Our first Red Coffee tasting in Bangalore.

Not your regular coffee.
Two mechanisms. One cup.

What we saw:
- Different reactions.
- Different preferences.
- Different moments where it clicked.
Want to see something slightly weird?
We just launched Red Coffee inside Claude Code.
On your Mac terminal run:
curl -sL https://t.co/63ClMGDmPl | bash
Then type one by one:
Claude
/red-coffee
Detects unstable system states.
Nudges you to take a break.
Occasionally drops things you didn't expect from a coffee.
Code is on GitHub. Inspect before running.

Coffee sharpens focus by increasing brain activity.
The same mechanism also reduces baseline blood flow - Vasoconstriction.
Most people know the first. Almost nobody talks about the second.
Mechanistically grounded.
Not clinically combined (yet).
Two ingredients. Two pathways. One cup.
