Last few days have been very long and stressful, but yesterday afternoon my wife had our first baby, little Zoë! She’s absolutely precious and in great health despite being born 5lbs 10oz. Apparently she’s one of the favorites in the nursery at the hospital!

People will only remember that England qualified, but anyone who watched that game knows Mexico made England work for every single minute.

They never stopped believing.

Every time England looked like they were taking control, Mexico found another way back into the match. They pressed with intensity, played with courage and showed exactly why football is so unpredictable.

I actually feel for them because they leave this tournament without anything to be ashamed of.
