Throwback to what Kamari Lassiter said after Georgia beat FSU in 2023:
"There's not really much of a reason you wouldn't want to play with these guys one more time when it's another chance to go out with the guys that you love, the guys that you've been with for 4-5 years."
Georgia won 29 straight games, lost by 3 on a bad call to Bama in the SEC title, got dropped from 1 to 6, and instead of bitching and moaning about refs and committees they went and laid a 63-3 beat down on FSU in a game where all of their healthy draftable players played
Look where UGA is now and tell me it didn’t matter. How you do anything is how you do everything. If your core program traits only matter when things go your way then they don’t actually matter. Notre Dame just told their players it’s okay to quit when things don’t go your way. I think it will have negative consequences on the immediate future of the program
Gunner Stockton says that he and UGA C Malachi Toliver were so determined to be ready that they took snaps in their suits today walking into the stadium.
Today was Toliver’s first career start.
Our seniors will officially graduate undefeated against our historic rivals.
- 4-0 against Florida
- 4-0 against Auburn
- 4-0 against Tech
- 4-0 against Tennessee
- 1-0 against Clemson
These are the glory days!
A few Texas players had some words for a few of Georgia’s players postgame. Nobody on the UGA side did much besides laugh, but I did overhear the following quote from someone in a red jersey
“Bro I just handled you for four quarters the time for all that was then”
Gunner Stockton… Quick learner.
He kneels it on the 1 yard-line instead of supermanning to the pylon and UGA is gonna get out of here with a 24-20 win.
This team in 4th quarters… We’re running out of words to explain it.
I continue this week with deep sense of my helplessness overall. I turned to reading Marcus Aurelius:
“If it is not right, do not do it, if it is not true, do not say it," and "Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one".
They lie, let their audience read it and believe it, then issue a half-hearted hidden correction at the end of the story hours (or even days) later.
This is exactly how people like Charlie Kirk end up murdered.
Disrespectfully, screw you @nytimes.
