Yesterday my sister and I did the first drop off to affected communities within Trelawny:
Sherwood Content
Reserve
Perth Town
We will be reaching out to other communities.
Founded in 1882, the historic Westwood High School in Stewart Town, Trelawny, one of Jamaica’s oldest all-girls boarding institutions, has suffered extensive damage following the passage of Hurricane Melissa.
Aerial footage shows severe destruction to the auditorium, dining hall, and hillside classrooms, along with the Woodland Building that houses part of the school’s boarding facilities.
Cleanup efforts are expected to begin soon as the school community works to rebuild.

@tvjnewscentre y’all really pissed me off. How did you barely show Trelawny when Martha Brae is literally locked in and unreachable? You got footage from St. James but couldn’t do the same for Trelawny? Literally next door.
For those impacted by Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica and the Bahamas, Starlink service is now free through the end of November to help with response and recovery efforts → https://t.co/fUko3xSviJ
