DIE SERAPHIMMM!! update. I was hoping to get more done over the last week. I think I'll focus on finishing layouts first to have a more definite endpoint to work towards! I've done 15 pages in total now, I have to learn to draw much faster.

I'm finally taking the plunge to make a comic! DIE SERAPHIMMM!! is an upcoming irreverent action-comedy about a delusional girl who believes she's a giant robot, an angel, and the savior of the universe!

The one-shot is planned to be between 60 to 80 pages. I have completed the entire script and have layouts done up to page 40, and I have completed six full pages over the last four days. That includes the title card you see here! This project will take considerable time and effort, so I hope you'll be patient with me! More details in the comments below! ⬇️

DIE SERAPHIMMM!! update. I had a lot of fun coloring pages, even though it's the step that takes the longest. Next week I'll aim to complete five pages. Wish me luck! More details about the comic will be revealed as progress is made, I hope you'll look forward to it!

That belief part is very true. It also helps to look at your established characters and mark down what values they hold before designing your new character. Then design your new character with parallel or contrary motives to create conflict and such. Designing in a vacuum will create disjointed characters. So using multiple reference points from your narrative will make for a neatly woven cast!

The comic will be set in Deviland, a dense concrete jungle where fantasy and brutal gunfire collide! And for those curious, "DIE SERAPHIMMM!!" shares its setting and several characters with my ongoing webnovel "WITCHPOWER." Though rest assured, despite working as a companion piece, DIE SERAPHIMMM!! will be its own self-contained story!

After watching The Amazing Digital Circus I had a revelation on how to write perfected character dynamics. I call this practice the "Angel/Devil Dynamic" and I'd like to share it with any aspiring writers (🧵1/3)
