This, and the upcoming fic, is my love letter to my child self, who grew up watching Marvel cartoon series, especially X-Men, and daydreamed about becoming a superhero. I put blood, sweat, and tears into this, and I can't believe I can finally post this for you all. ๐ฉท
I know I said this would be a one-shot, and it still is, but itโs around 30k words right now. It might end up being longer after editing, depending on whether I decide any additional scenes are needed. Would you guys prefer it split into two parts, or should I keep it as one?
I wanted to post the one-shot tonight, but unfortunately, this definitely needs another day of editing. I don't want to publish something I'm not 100% satisfied with, so I will be publishing it tomorrow instead. I'm sorry, lovelies. โน๏ธ
It would be so useful to have a little โauthor update/statusโ feature on Ao3. I feel bad for the people waiting for TBAH's new chapter, thinking I'm posting today.
I have been working on this for months already (mostly planning), and it feels both freeing and weird to finally share details about it. Simply telling you that it's based on a movie/comic series feels like sharing a state secret, hahahha. ๐ซข๐ซฃ
Also, itโs time to announce that this is a crossover fic, but you donโt need to watch the movies or read the comics to read this story. I wonโt be including many characters from the other franchise. Iโll mostly just be dropping the Xo Kitty characters into that world.๐ฉท
This week's update schedule:
Oneshot: Friday.
TBAH: Sunday or Monday. It all depends on whether I can finish the oneshot tomorrow.
Friday will remain TBAH's, but writing my new series makes me very happy, and I needed some uplifting this week, so I chose to focus on it. ๐ฉท

@AvelinaCCreatio 4: That depends, but I would say a few hours. Sometimes I ask my friend to do it for me.
10: Yes!
13: Well, I'm not sure if this is a writing habbit, but I sometimes skip meals because I am too focused on writing, and if I have a good flow, I don't want to stop.
@OpinionsFilm 2: At work or in the shower, hahahha. I spend a lot of my working hours coming up with plot ideas/trying to fix a plothole.
6: In the living room. :)
9: Oh, that depends as sometimes I write scenes in advance, but most of the time, I write in order.
