I don’t want to name names if I can help it, but iw8-mod and Lumen are just terrible communities
They have no idea how difficult zonetool actually is, and what even is “copying” in the first place??
The repository you’re linking looks like it was created after I had already made zonetool, doesn’t it??
If you’ve got time to spread lies and complain about other people’s actions with claims of “virus” this and “copying” that, how about you people try making something yourselves instead??
Not teaching technology is no reason to become a target of attacks
I used to support them, but I’m disappointed.
And I’m also extremely disappointed in the users who believe their lies
This is exactly why DMs from brand-new accounts that suddenly contact you are terrifying.
It makes me wonder if they really want to attack me that badly, and the fact that they’re sending DMs just to get closer to me is also creepy😑

The AI bot is laughable.
In the first place, the person who introduced the AI bot has absolutely zero knowledge of client coding, so there’s no way an AI bot can properly answer questions about niche modding topics or client setups that encourage illegal piracy.
By the way, the practice of just creating tickets only to close them pointlessly is the same management style that has been used in MRON (now Lumen).
It makes complete sense because the ticket system administrators are the same staff for both iw8-mod and Lumen.
And I truly feel sorry for the users—including you—who have joined that server and are genuinely seeking help with modding and related matters.

Also, it’s bizarre that features aren’t properly added unless people donate.
In the BodHQ community where I previously worked, there was never any such solicitation, and even if no one donated, the owner Bod maintained the server for everyone while shouldering the electricity costs for DWEmu. Considering that, the difference in the quality of their management is like night and day.

@hinatyu for context im even seeing people say they feel like their being targeted by moderators

they can't document basic info about features of their own "creation" and when people genuinely just want help they get their time wasted

idk about Lumen but iw8-mod has moderators (not all) that just ragebait all day even if you actually need help

What this proves:
• Working integration with the private LUMEN project (which is never releasing).
• Extra games kept private from the public.
• CDN was shut down right after the leak.
