@SeeTedTalk @ojahnn Thanks! Our philosophy was: short days (4 hours max) and short, but interactive sessions (1 hour max), using Gather wherever possible (everything except keynotes). All papers were posters + 1 min videos (both in Gather).
Time zones were an issue though, with such short days.
There's currently a great panel session happening at #IWCS2021! What is the future of computational semantics now that end-to-end neural systems are so successful?
Are you not attending #IWCS2021, but still interested in attending an (unrecorded) keynote by @rachelrudinger?
You're in luck! First 5 people to DM this account get free access to her keynote on Zoom, which takes place at 15:00 CET today. So be quick!

Our main social event starts at 18:00 CET, so in about 10 minutes! It's a short quiz, in teams, mostly about general knowledge, but with some IWCS/Groningen/semantics sprinkled in. Please join us on Gather!
IWCS 2021 Day 1 will start in exactly half an hour!
The first session is a keynote by the one and only Mirella Lapata! We have a full schedule afterwards. Check it out here:

Hope to see you all there! #IWCS2021
IWCS 2021 has started with the workshops!
Three workshops are well underway (ISA-17, @nalomameeting, SemSpace 2021) with MMSR I starting in an hour.
In exactly 5 hours, we will have the welcome on Zoom.
Please join to hear more about IWCS and the upcoming schedule #IWCS2021
It's still possible to register to IWCS 2021, which takes place next week Wed-Fri!

Here's also a sneak peek of our Gather Town. Even though IWCS is fully online you don't have to miss out on the highlights of Groningen! #IWCS2021
Registration for IWCS 2021 has opened!
https://t.co/BicihHkWHs
Registration includes full online access to the main conference and all colocated workshops.
Early registration only costs 20 euro (~25 USD). This only lasts until June 1st, so be quick!
We are happy to announce our two great keynote speakers: Rachel Rudinger (@rachelrudinger) and Mirella Lapata (@mlapata)!

Submission deadline for IWCS 2021 is in two days!
If you're doubting whether to submit, here's a small scoop that might push you over the edge: there will be awards for outstanding papers this year!
Only a week left to submit to IWCS 2021: submission deadline is March 12th!
Note that the deadline is "anywhere on earth", to possibly accommodate the computational semanticists that plan on visiting Howland Island next week๐
Okay, okay, we are not as big, but if you do computational semantics you don't have to wait, because IWCS 2021 has a submission deadline of March 12th! #NLProc
With the ACL-IJCNLP deadline firmly behind you, here's the next big one! EMNLP 2021 paper submissions are due on May 17th. Anonymity period starts on April 17th.
