My fellow Nigerians,
You will recall that I cancelled my trip to the G20 summit in South Africa to enable me coordinate the security efforts at home.
Thanks to the efforts of our security forces over the last few days, all the 38 worshippers abducted in Eruku, Kwara State have been rescued.
I am equally happy that 51 out of the missing students of the Catholic School in Niger State, have been recovered.
I am closely monitoring the security situation nationwide and receiving continuous updates from the frontline.
Let me be clear: I will not relent. Every Nigerian, in every state, has the right to safety — and under my watch, we will secure this nation and protect our people.
~ Bola Ahmed Tinubu
President & Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces
Federal Republic of Nigeria
This entire write-up is very classic My Incoming President Sir; long grammar, emotional packaging, and beautifully-worded paragraphs that say very little about the real issue. It is polished, it is poetic, but let’s be honest:
it dodges the hard truths.
Yes, dialogue is important. Yes, leadership has failed in many areas. But this attempt to recast Nnamdi Kanu as an innocent symbol of peace when everyone knows his rhetoric, methods, and arrogance contributed heavily to the escalation; is simply not honest.
Let’s state the obvious:
1. Kanu was not arrested for asking for dialogue; he was arrested for inciting tensions.
Painting him as a gentle messenger of unity is rewriting history.
2. Dialogue cannot work with someone who speaks from a place of pride and volatility.
Even many of his own supporters admit that his arrogance fuels conflict instead of calming it.
3. The government may have handled the situation poorly ....yes
but Kanu’s conduct has also been reckless and confrontational, not the behaviour of someone seeking peaceful solutions.
4. Nigeria’s problems did not magically begin with his arrest, and they will not magically end with his release.
This write-up makes it seem like the entire nation revolves around Kanu. That’s misleading.
The most ironic part is this:
You condemn “mechanical use of the law” but ignore the fact that Kanu himself consistently disrespected the same legal processes you want the country to uphold.
If we are going to demand justice, unity, and reconciliation, then we must also demand responsibility, humility, and discipline from those claiming to fight for freedom.
This post is full of beautiful English, but it avoids accountability both from the government and from Kanu himself.
Nigeria needs sincerity, not poetic speeches.

Breaking: MAZI NNAMDI KANU has just been moved from DSS Abuja to the correctional facility (prison) in Sokoto; so far away from his lawyers, family, loved ones and wellwishers.
My wife wants everyone to know that boiling Moi Moi in nylon bags is VERY DANGEROUS! 🚫🔥 Please stop using nylon as it can release harmful chemicals into your food. Instead, use leaves (like the traditional Ewe Moi Moi) which are natural and much safer. Please RT!
Patients don't pay for Blood at all.
It is illegal, Blood is free for all.
The only thing patients pay for is screening, grouping & cross matching, and other logistics that ensure safe Blood is available to recipients.
I know a Federal hospital that once sacked tens of lab scientists and staff when they discovered Blood was being sold & it was investigated.
If you've ever been told to pay for Blood, report to the authorities, it is illegal, you've been extorted.
1. She told me she’s above 18= RAPE.
2. She looks 18: RAPE.
3. But prostitution is illegal: RAPE
4. She is 17 not 13, when she got pregnant or when you had sex: RAPE
5. I carried her as hookup and I didn’t pay her after sex: RAPE
PUNISHMENT FOR RAPE: LIFE IMPRISONMENT.
Happy Sunday.

On Professor Amupitan's Appointment And The So-Called Yorubacentricism Of President Tinubu
The appointment of Professor Amupitan by President Tinubu is the first time in Nigeria's history that a person of Lukumi Yoruba origin, who is also from the North-Central state of Kogi, has been appointed to head the Independent National Electoral Commission, and already, people are shouting that it is Yorubacentric.
Nobody from the North-Central and no Lukumi individual has ever occupied that seat in sixty-five years. Why? Is it that other zones and ethnicities are more noble and trustworthy than this region and ethnicity?
How about admitting the truth that it is a matter of qualification meeting equity?
Since 1960, we have had the following Chairmen or heads of our election commissions:
Eyo Esua (1964–1966) from Cross River State
Michael Ani (1976–1979) from Cross River State
Justice Victor Ovie-Whiskey (1980–1983) from Deita State
Professor Eme Awa (1987–1989) from Abia State
Professor Humphrey Nwosu (1989–1993) from Anambra State
Professor Okon Edet Uya (1993) from Akwa-Ibom State
Sumner Dagogo-Jack (1994–1998) from Rivers State
Justice Ephraim Akpata (1998–2000) from Edo State
Dr. Abel Guobadia (2000–2005) from Edo State
Professor Maurice Iwu (2005–2010) from Imo State
Professor Attahiru Jega (2010–2015) from Kebbi State
Amina Bala Zakari (acting, 2015) from Jigawa State
Professor Mahmood Yakubu (2015–2025) from Bauchi State
From the list above, the North-Central and the Lukumi Yoruba are the two major region and ethnicity that have never occupied that seat. However, when President Tinubu corrects that error by appointing a much qualified Lukumi from the North-Central, the usual suspects are screaming Yorubacentricism.
They did not say anything when under Buhari, Northern Muslim Males led the Executive as President (Buhari), the Legislative as Senate President (Lawan), the Judiciary as Chief Justice (Tanko), the INEC (Mahmoud Yakubu), as well as the Army, Police, Air Force, NSA, DMI, EFCC, DSS, NCS, NIS, NPS, and DIA!
In addition to the Ministry of Defence, Nigeria has a total of twenty security and law enforcement agencies, including the Office of the National Security Adviser, the Nigerian Army, the Nigerian Airforce, the Nigerian Navy, the Nigerian Police Force, the Department of State Security, the Nigerian Intelligence Agency, the Defence Intelligence Agency, the Nigerian Immigration Service, the Nigerian Customs Service, the Nigerian Correctional Service ( formerly known as the Nigerian Prison Service), the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, the Federal Road Safety Commission, the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission, the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit, the Federal Fire Service and the National Youth Service Corp, which unknown to most Nigerians is actually a reserve force that can be called up during emergencies.
The question is this: Of these twenty security and law enforcement agencies, how many are headed by persons of Lukumi Yoruba origin from the Southwest? The answer is only six: the Nigerian Army, the Police, Customs, the DSS, the NYSC and the EFCC. And some of these six are Northerners.
The Northwest has the highest share, as it also has the highest population in the country.
Under President Tinubu, there is an ethnic balance in appointments, which is why, for the first time since 2015, a person from the Southeast is a member of the National Security Council with the appointment of Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla from Enugu as the Chief of Naval Staff.
If anyone quarrels about Professor Joash Amupitan's appointment as INEC Chairman, let that argument be based on his qualifications or character, because the argument about his ethnicity, region and religion has fallen flat!

@CRawkeen I pity those who still buy soft drinks inside traffic. You are drinking poison, just because someone can't curb their greed.

You've been hustling day and night just to make yourself comfortable. And then, you're down with a headache. Nothing serious, just something a simple paracetamol should fix.
After taking the tablets, your health deteriorated and the story changed to organ failure just because someone sold Ayedeeru Paracetamol to you.
The young family you just started, your beautiful wife, your thriving hustle, your money in the bank, your loving baby, parents and siblings - you just had to leave them not because of fate but just because someone wants to make money. Now, a home is broken, a wound that never heals.
Do people who make these fake products deserve to live? They don't deserve your sympathy. We need NAFDAC and SON to sit up and we need death penalty for the makers of fake products.
CAMPAIGN AGAINST FAKE DRUGS 💊, FAKE DRINKS 🥃, FAKE BEVERAGES, FAKE COSMETICS 💄, FAKE ELECTRONICS & FAKE AUTO PARTS IN NIGERIA 🇳🇬
Dear President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (@officialABAT), sir, I urge you to declare a state of emergency on fake drugs, fake drinks, fake beverages, fake baby food and other fake consumables and products across Nigeria because they lead to devastating consequences.
For fake drugs, they usually lack active ingredients, have incorrect dosage or are generally contaminated by harmful chemicals and toxins. Thousands of Nigerian citizens have died or are dying of liver disease, kidney failure or cancer due to these fake consumables.
It is the role of federal regulators (@NafdacAgency and @SONNigeria) to ensure that all citizens are accessing genuine drugs and products. Please, sir, declare this as a national emergency!

On Nigeria’s auto capacity:
A few months ago, we assembled 1,000 tricycles for the Niger State Government in just six weeks. On several days, we produced up to 50 units. To achieve this, we set up an on-site factory and warehouse in Niger State, moved in equipment from Lagos, installed them, trained local citizens, and successfully delivered 1,000 units in just over a month.
Because we delivered those 1,000 units, we secured another deal to deliver 5,000. And we got the 1,000 unit contract because we had successfully delivered 120 units for the Kano State Government.
At our Unilag factory, we assemble five vehicles daily, the same way people drink water when they’re thirsty.
Stop letting people lie to you about your country’s industrial capacity. Prove your competence and integrity, and those seeking value will find you.
