Opus 5 mistakenly deleted ~270M records from my server

At 4 AM UTC today it found a critical bug, fixed it, tested it, and committed the patch

then forgot to copy the fix to server !

few hours later, the old code silently overwrote 2,383/2,446 corpus shards.

138 GB → 5.4 GB

there should be pause btn in claude code and codex so before rate limit we can just make the mid run agents stop instead of rate limit destroying hours of work midway
