Genuinely kept reading people saying “oh black people can’t be racist”, “oh poc can’t be racist” like shut the fuck up. There cannot be a single person in the world who isn’t even the slightest racist. As an Asian person, obviously I want to believe I’m not racist but because there are views in the world I can’t understand yet, i won’t be able to be as empathetic towards it. However, what matters is the fact that I keep trying to learn with good people around me guiding me without immediately accusing me of being a terrible person for not knowing. You can be that person. You can guide people who doesn’t understand that point of view instead of screaming at their faces calling them a racist or throwing slurs at them. Seriously though, who would want to listen and learn to “criticism” when it’s just insults and belittling for something you have no idea of. As people who are apart of the art community, I was hoping you out of everyone else would be more empathetic and guiding than anyone else. I’m absolutely disappointed.
